Built on Craft,
Driven by Passion
Founded in 1998, Joinery Limited has spent over a quarter of a century perfecting the art and science of bespoke joinery. Over 35 years of combined craft. Thousands of projects. One unwavering standard.
Where Tradition Meets Today
We believe exceptional joinery is born from the marriage of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design thinking. Every piece we create is a response to a unique brief, a specific space, and a particular client's aspirations.
Wood is a living material, it demands respect, knowledge, and patience. Our craftsmen understand this at a level that only comes from decades of working with their hands. We don't use shortcuts. We don't use templates. We don't compromise.
Jason & Shaun Iddon
Jason Iddon
Over 25 years of structural joinery expertise
Jason has been at the bench since 1998, building his reputation across some of the North West's most demanding residential projects. His expertise lies in structural and architectural joinery: staircases, timber frames, orangeries, and large-scale bespoke installations.
His ability to read a space, understand its engineering requirements, and deliver a solution that is both structurally sound and visually exceptional sits at the heart of every Joinery Limited project. He leads the workshop alongside his son Shaun.
Shaun Iddon
A decade of precision design and finishing
Shaun brings the design intelligence that turns exceptional craftsmanship into extraordinary finished spaces. With a background spanning precision cabinetry, fitted interiors, and luxury residential projects, his eye for detail ensures every Joinery Limited project is as beautiful to look at as it is to use.
Working alongside his father Jason in the workshop, Shaun translates complex briefs into clear, beautiful designs and ensures they're built exactly as conceived.

Why It Took Us 28 Years to Build This Website
We have owned joinery.co.uk since 1996 and worked without a website for the better part of three decades. The order book always looked after itself. This is the honest explanation of why, and why we finally changed our minds.

Precision for Small Spaces
Monaco's luxury property market demands joinery that is both aesthetically exceptional and extraordinarily space-efficient. Properties in the Principality command some of the highest per-square-metre values in the world, which means every centimetre must work harder than anywhere else.
Our connection to Monaco through the business principal's residence there has given us a deep understanding of what discerning clients in compact luxury spaces require. We design and build joinery that genuinely adds property value, not just beauty.
Space-Maximising SolutionsAbout Joinery Limited: Common Questions
How long has Joinery Limited been in business?
Joinery Limited was founded in 1998 by Jason Iddon. Shaun Iddon joined the business in his early twenties, having grown up surrounded by the craft. The company has now been trading continuously for over 26 years from the same workshop in Longton, Preston.
Is Jason Iddon a qualified joiner?
Yes. Jason served a full apprenticeship and has spent over 25 years as a working craftsman, building his expertise in structural and architectural joinery across hundreds of residential and commercial projects. He is qualified to produce all necessary technical documentation for structural and architectural commissions.
What kinds of homes do you typically work on?
The majority of our work is for privately owned homes — from traditional stone Lancashire farmhouses to modern new builds, barn conversions, period townhouses, and high-value apartments in Monaco and London. The common thread is not the style of the property but the ambition of the client. Our clients want something better than what is available off a shelf.
Can I see examples of your previous work?
Yes — our portfolio contains a selection of recent projects across staircases, kitchens, cabinetry, orangeries, and fitted bedrooms. We can also show additional project photography on request. For some commission types, we can arrange a visit to a completed project if the client agrees.
Do you only work in Lancashire, or do you travel?
We travel wherever the commission takes us. The majority of our work is in Lancashire and the wider North West, but we have completed projects across the UK and internationally — including Monaco, France, and the Netherlands. For international clients, we offer a 3D scanning survey service so that precise drawings can be produced without repeated travel to site.
